Star Anise & Plum Sticky Ribs
1 side baby back ribs
1 onion coarsly chopped
2 whole star anise
1 bay leaf
6 whole peppercorns
1-2 scallions ( for garnish)
2tsp garlic powder
1/4tsp ground star anise
salt+pepper
1cup smokey BBq sauce
1cup plum sauce
1/2cup brown sugar
2tbs veg oil
